It was a genuinely woeful night in the Champions League for defending champions Inter Milan, who were embarassed in their own back yard by Schalke.
And yet it started so miraculously for Inter. After just 24 seconds, Schalke keeper Michael Neuer headed clear outside of his area, only for Dejan Stankovic to volley from forty yards over the keeper and into the goal.
Shame his side then got dicked on 5-2.
