'Avram Grant - Millwall Legend' plane banner flies over DW Stadium as West Ham go down

Deja vu all over again

OTP isn’t sure what the aviation equivalent of a bandwagon is, but Millwall supporters jumped aboard yesterday. Following Blackpool’s plane banner mocking Preston’s relegation, Lions supporters arranged for an ‘Avram Grant – Millwall Legend’ message to be flown over Wigan’s DW Stadium as West Ham confirmed their relegation from the Premier League.

Whoever bankrolled the stunt must have been sweating a bit when the Hammers were 0-2 up.
