Sweet-toothed Manchester United fans were offered a discounted pick-me-up after their derby defeat to Manchester City with this £1 birthday cake.

The City-branded cake next to it on the shelves remained priced at £6.

Alas, this is probably just a nice PR stunt. But we’d like to think it has been implemented by a rogue store manager.
