Juan Mata embarrasses himself by singing the Macarena
What is it about footballers thinking that they can be pop stars?
Chris Waddle and Glenn Hoddle disgraced the nation on Top of the Pops with Diamond Lights, and the less said about Andrew/Andy Cole’s single ‘Outstanding’ in the 90s the better. Let’s just say it was vomit-inducing.
You can add Chelsea’s Juan Mata to that list. At a Chelsea’s supporters’ with team mates Torres, Romeu and Azpilicueta, Mata was asked to choose a song to sing for the fans. He didn’t exactly nail his choice by opting for the Macarena by Los del Rio, one of the worst ‘party’ songs of all time.
I’m not even going near Oriel Romeu’s little dance.
