Video: Franck Ribery swaps his mascot for a shorter one

Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery traded his mascot at a charity match because he thought his was too tall.

Ahead of Mark Van Bommel’s testimonial match last week, the France international appeared to become concerned at the height of the child with whom he was holding hands.

Spotting a much smaller model up ahead, the 5ft 7in star proposed a swap for a child that wasn’t nearly as tall as him.

Team-mate Thomas Muller was clearly amused by the whole incident.
