It’s the perfect storm of celebration FAIL: an attempted kneeslide that goes horribly wrong coupled with the goal that you were attempting to celebrate being disallowed.

That’s exactly what Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama gave us yesterday – and it’s the gif that keeps on giving.

The Kenya international thought he had put Saints 2-0 up against Swansea and ran off to celebrate.

He attempted to kneeslide towards the corner flag – classic – but derailed mid-slide. Turning around expecting to face the mockery of his team-mates, he instead discovered that his goal had been ruled out.
