Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen has attempted to steal another opponent’s shorts.

The Belgian hit the headlines last month when he revealed Aston Villa striker Nicklas Helenius’ underwear to the world during a Capital One Cup tie.

Having somehow avoided conceding a penalty on that occasion, Vertonghen has clearly decided that it’s quite an effective tool for defending.

West Ham youngster Ravel Morrison was the target of his most recent attack.
