Video: Tottenham concerned about Tromso's artificial pitch

Spurs have expressed concerns about playing on an artificial pitch in tonight’s Europa League game at Tromso.

Manager Andre Villas Boas says the frozen surroundings and an unusual playing surface pose a challenge to his players.

He said: “It’s going to be extremely difficult conditions, for sure. Most of these players haven’t gone through an experience like this, particularly with the artificial pitch.

“So we will try and use the training for them to get some kind of adaptation. But definitely difficult conditions for them.”
