West Ham striker Andy Carroll's parents mock his horse looks

With his big frame, clodhopping style and, of course, his ponytail, West Ham striker Andy Carroll has frequently being compared to a horse.

And it seems even his parents are getting in on the act.

The Carrolls marked Andrew’s 25th birthday by sending him a horse-themed birthday card.

The England international said: “Yes this is the birthday card I got from my parents!!!! #unnecessary #horse.”

Carroll disputes the horse resemblance, seeing himself more as a Christ figure.
