New Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has been admiring the work of the Crystal Palace boss ahead of the Premier League clash between the two sides.
He said: “He’s done a brilliant job. We’ve seen it time and time again when managers come into a struggling side and they give them a lift.
“Tony’s done a great job. Very experienced manager. He was one of the longest serving managers in the Premier League.
“It’s good to see him back in work. I’m hoping he doesn’t bring that magic wand with him tomorrow because he’s done something special there to turn their fortunes around.”
