Liverpool fans are really warming to the idea of Brendan Rodgers building a legacy at Anfield (albeit the in-house Bill Shankly comparisons went a step too far).
There enthusiasm is backed up by this graphic showing his record during his first 69 games in charged in comparison to Sir Alex Ferguson’s first 69 games at rivals Manchester United.
As you can see, with both managers trying to wake their giant clubs out of relative slumber, Rodgers is in front on every count at this stage.
Not that the stats prove anything, but they’ve interesting nonetheless.
