Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: 'We expect to beat Tottenham'

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says his side expect to beat Spurs on Sunday.

While he is expecting a tough, Rodgers says his side will not be happy with anything less than three points because the game is at home.

He said: “For us it’s going to be a hard game.

“They’re coming off the back of a good result against Southampton where they came back and did very well but we’re at Anfield and we expect to win at Anfield, no matter who we play and again we’re looking forward to playing at home.”

It sounds to us like Rodgers is thinking a couple of moves ahead and starting to paint a trip to Anfield as Mission: Impossible ahead of the visits of Chelsea and Manchester City.
