Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been offer contracts by Arsenal and AC Milan, according to reports in Denmark.

The Foxes star is out of contract this summer and already has offers on the table, including one from the Gunners, claims Danish news site BT.

Milan, Olympiakos and Southampton are also said to be keen on whisking the 25-year-old away from Nigel Pearson’s newly-promoted side.

His agent Kenneth Shepherd, son of former Newcastle owner Freddy Shepherd, said: “My principle is that I can not comment on that kind of thing.”

Arsenal are likely to be in the market for at least one new goalkeeper this summer. On-loan Emiliano Viviano has failed to make an impression this season, while Lukasz Fabianski is set to quit the Emirates when his contract expires this summer.

Manager Arsene Wenger occasionally has reservations about Wojciech Szczesny’s consistency and attitude, and would like a solid challenger to his first-team jersey.
