Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers’ claims that the title race is over.
And he says that even victory over Aston Villa tomorrow evening won’t secure the league for his side.
Speaking ahead of the Villa game, Pellegrini said: “We know that the next game is the most important game.
“We are not going to win the Premier League if we win the game tomorrow. We must win tomorrow and then we must see what happens on Sunday.
“It is a difficult game because all the teams are under pressure. But I hope that if we play at home as we did so far, I hope we can win the game.”
