Tottenham and Liverpool are monitoring Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

The 23-year-old looks set for a move to the Premier League this summer. He has been on Liverpool’s radar for some time as Brendan Rodgers attempts to add some depth to his goalkeeping pool.

They have now been joined in the hunt for Darlow’s signing by Spurs.

The north Londoners allowed Heurelho Gomes to leave at the end of last season and new boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add competition for number one Hugo Lloris.

France skipper Lloris has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, but Spurs are determined to keep hold of him.

Veteran keeper Brad Friedel has signed a new one-year deal and could become the Premier League’s oldest ever player if he features next season any time on or after October 15.

Spurs have also been linked with the likes of Cardiff keeper David Marshall, but are only likely to move for him if they were to lose Lloris.
