Man Utd's Ander Herrera set to wear corset vs West Brom

Ander Herrera could return to Manchester United’s midfield for their game against West Brom on Monday evening – wearing a corset.

The Spanish star has been out since sustaining a cracked rib in the win over West Ham on 5 October.

Manager Louis van Gaal says Herrera could now be fit enough to return if he dons a special protective corset.

He said: “Herrera is a fit player and he only had a rib fracture, so we can play him with a corset. then he can play.

“But, of course, I have to select him first.”

The 24-year-old former Atletico Madrid man, who had an impressive start to his United career before picking up the injury, has returned to training this week and has made himself available for selection against the Baggies.
