Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill’s wig fell off during last night’s defeat to Liverpool in the quarter-final of the League Cup.
The 19-year-old was carrying the ball forward and was subjected to the embarrassing episode after delivering a pass.
The England youth player’s catching ability was not much better than his wig as he failed to grasp it on its way down.
Interestingly, Cargill opted to leave his garment on the field rather than be subjected to ridicule and put it back on his head in the middle of the televised game.
