Man Utd are still in the title race, says Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United are not out of the Premier League title race.

Mourinho’s table-topping Blues are eight points ahead of third-placed Manchester United.

But less than halfway through the season, the Chelsea boss believes Louis van Gaal’s side are still in with a serious chance as long as they stay within 10 points of the top.

He said: “There’s a long time to go. I think that everybody that wants to be involved is involved.

“Not even 50 per cent of the league is played so anybody with less than 10 points difference is very much in the title race.”
