When Tottenham Hotspur launched their new home kit last Friday, we noted that Spurs fans were probably wishing that sponsors AIA had ditched their corporate branding in favour of a navy, rather than red, logo.
But for its first outing, the new shirt’s inclusion of a flash of a colour more associated with north London rivals Arsenal was overshadowed somewhat by the fact that Danny Rose turned up with his hair dyed the same colour.
Rose, by name and, presumably, L’Oreal shade, opted for the strange choice in hair colour for yesterday’s win over Hull City.
