BREAKING: The #LAGalaxy have signed English defender Ashley Cole

He left Stamford Bridge on a free transfer in 2014. Cole had played for the Blues since 2006, when he signed from the Gunners.
Cole joins his former England team-mate Steven Gerrard at the Galaxy, who have not disclosed the terms of their new signing’s deal. They did state that the veteran full-back will not be one of their designated players.
The move is subject to Cole obtaining a visa and international clearance.
Galaxy head coach and general manager Bruce Arena told the MLS side’s website: “Ashley is one of the world’s most successful defenders and has played at the highest level of competition throughout his career.
“He can provide our defence with valuable experience. We look forward to his contribution to our club this season.”
