Newcastle United’s deadline day loan signing Seydou Doumbia has received a UK visa in time to feature in this evening’s Premier League clash with Everton, according to Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old joined the Magpies on loan from Serie A side Roma, having spent the first-half of the season at former club CSKA Moscow.

All of the Ivory Coast international’s paperwork is now in order, which means he is available to face the Toffees tonight.

The indication is that Doumbia has made the trip to Goodison Park and is likely to be included in the squad. After, at most, two training sessions with his new team-mates, it seems likely that he will have to settle for a place on the bench in the first instance.

Doumbia has 11 goals in 21 games for CSKA so far this season.

Fellow new signing Andros Townsend is also in line to make his Newcastle debut this evening.
