Liverpool defender Kolo Toure took advantage of this afternoon’s Valentine’s Day Massacre at Villa Park to score his first goal for the club.
The Ivorian centre-back was left completely unmarked in the penalty area to nod in Jordan Henderson’s corner for the Reds’ sixth goal of the afternoon against Aston Villa.
Toure, aged 34, sprinted back towards the halfway line after his header hit the net before collapsing to the ground and being piled on by jubilant team-mates.
