Sunderland's DeAndre Yedlin rages at Liverpool defender

The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur defender was unimpressed by a lunging challenge by Moreno on his USA national team colleague Christian Pulisic in the closing stages of last night’s Europa League game between the Reds and Borussia Dortmund.

Pulisic, aged 17, came on as a second-half substitute for Dortmund. He found himself on the receiving end of a two-footed lunge from Moreno near one of the corner flags in the Bundesliga side’s half.

Yedlin wrote: “What kind of tackle was that? Trying to injure my dude @cpulisic_10.”
