Photos: Tottenham's Dele Alli misses a sitter vs Stoke City

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has produced one of the misses of the season during tonight’s Premier League game at Stoke City.

The England international had rounded Potters goalkeeper Shay Given and had the goal at his mercy when he somehow managed to hit the post rather than score.

Alli promptly buried his head in the Britannia Stadium turf. His boss Mauricio Pochettino did likewise.

The miss was even more incredible given that Alli, aged 20, had scored moments earlier and was full of confidence.
