Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has faced the media ahead of Sunday’s final Premier League game of the season against Aston Villa.
The Frenchman was forced to deny media reports that he has been offered a new two-year contract that would tie him to the club until June 2019.
He rubbished those suggestions.
Wenger also confirmed that veteran midfielders Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky will leave when their contracts expire this summer.
He indicated that one or two of the trio might feature against Villa.
And he said Jack Wilshere is now fit enough to be considered to start games.
