Video: Spurs midfielder Eric Dier's last free-kick goal for Sporting B

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier was the scorer of England’s first goal at Euro 2016 after opening the scoring against Russia with a powerful free-kick yesterday evening.

It was the 22-year-old’s first free-kick goal since his days playing for Sporting Lisbon B.

You can see his last successfully converted free-kick, which came in a game against Porto B in 2012, in the video above.

It is not dissimilar to his strike against Russia, with a team-mate making a dummy run over the ball before Dier unleashed a powerful right-footed effort.
