Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has posted on social media to give his thoughts on getting his first England call-up.
The £50m summer signing from Crystal Palace has been selected in Gareth Southgate’s 25-man squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Wan-Bissaka is in line to win his first cap for the Three Lions, though he faces competition at right-back from Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier.
Writing on Twitter this afternoon, the 21-year-old said: “Proud to have been called up to the @England squad. Looking forward to meeting up with the boys ahead of two big games.”
