Wednesday night (January 10) offers a cross-conference duel between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat. The action on the hardwood floor will occur at Kaseya Center, and the visiting team is a 4-point favorite.

Both teams have a winning record so far in the season, but Thunder is on the rise, ranking as one of the best shooting teams of the season, offering several players props for a parlay bet. However, Miami is riding a three-game home winning streak and will not capitulate easily, no matter which team betting apps see as the favorite.

Let's examine a potential combination for a parlay bet with a BetMGM sportsbook promo for this matchup.

Adebayo Will Take Center Stage

Jimmy Butler's toe injury will distance him from tonight's game, which means Bam Adebayo will again assume the mantle of leadership. Adebayo averages 22 points per night, with 51.1% field goal efficiency and a modest 14.3% from beyond the arc. The center produces 10.3 rebounds per night and steals 1.2 balls.

Sportsbooks offer several prop bets on Adebayo, which can be combined for a parlay wager. Bam's points prop bet offers a 22.5-point total with -125 odds for the Over and -105 odds for the Under bet. Not surprisingly, the prop bet on rebounds closely matches Adebayo's average and is set at 11.5 rebounds with -110 odds for the Over bet and -120 odds for the Under bet. Bam will likely have a steal tonight, and bookie apps offer a prop bet of 0.5 steals with -195 odds on the Over and +150 odds on the Under.

Without Butler on the court, Adebayo will have more opportunity to score, although Miami has other shooters on the roster. Yet, hitting the Over on the points prop might not be an issue for Adebayo, who in his last game scored 22 points and in the game before that had 28 points against the Suns.

The Rookie Holmgren Is Showing His Talent

Thunder's rising star Chet Holmgren has won back-to-back Rookie of The Month Awards and is becoming one of the pivotal players in Oklahoma. The rookie averages half an hour per game, and during those minutes, he scores on average 17.8 points with 55.1% efficiency from the field. Chet is putting his height to good use with 7.3 rebounds a night.

Chet is coming off a fantastic performance against the Wizards, scoring 31 points. However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is still the number one player on the roster. If he keeps performing as he is right now, Chet will confirm he can be a future star in the league.

Sportsbooks offer a player prom bet of 17.5 points on Chet with -120 on the Over and -110 on the Under bet. In the rebounds category, the total for Holmgren is set at 7.5 rebounds, with the Under bet receiving -130 odds and the Over +100 odds. For a center, Chet is not shy about distributing the ball, and the prop on assist is 2.5 with +114 odds for the Over and -145 odds for the Under bet.

Holmgren has demonstrated the ability to score over 17 points a night, and so far in the season 7 rebounds have been routine for the rookie. The biggest dilemma is the assists segment of a potential three-leg parlay bet on Chet.
