Everton boss Roberto Martinez gave the media a pronunciation lesson on how to say new signing Gerard Deulofeu’s name.

The on-loan Barcelona star’s surname was proving tricky for reporters.

Martinez noted: “You’re struggling with that surname, huh?”

The former Wigan manager then delivered the correct pronunication. That’s probably the last time you’ll hear it said correctly this season.

That’s the pronunciation dealt with. Now Martinez just needs to help the club shop with its spelling.
