Dowd seemingly took great pleasure in booking Liverpool’s Philipp Degen for misspelling his first name during last night’s FA Cup defeat to Reading. We probably shouldn’t expect refs to get no enjoyment at all out of football but it is quite peculiar which bits seem to turn them on!
