Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci is under investigation by the Football Association after allegedly abusing Norwich striker Cameron Jerome.

The incident happened in last night’s 1-1 draw between the two sides at Crrow Road.

Jerome reacted angrily to something said by the Italian.

Referee Mark Clattenburg stopped play to discuss Jerome’s claims with the player and both managers.

After the game, Canaries boss Neil Adams said: “Cameron has alleged that a racist remark was made.

“I don’t think he’d have reacted in the way he did if it hadn’t happened.”

Moments later, Jerome was booked by Clattenburg for clattering into Bellusci.

The ref took statements from both players after the game.
