GIF: Arsenal youngster Dan Crowley scores a great goal vs Anderlecht

Dan Crowley has been heralded as the ‘next Jack Wilshere’ for a while now.

Certainly this goal he scored against Anderlecht is reminiscent of a couple Wilshere has scored for the senior team.

Crowley, aged 17, combined with Chris Willock – perhaps the Arsenal youth setup’s other outstanding player – for some neat interplay on the edge of the box before applying the finish.

But it was only to be the Gunners’ only goal in a 1-2 defeat in Tuesday’s Uefa Youth League game.
