Video: Nick Powell missed Man Utd's defeat at Midtjylland because he was playing FIFA

On-loan Hull City midfielder Nick Powell says he didn’t watch parent club Manchester United’s defeat at Midtjylland last night because he was playing FIFA.

The 21-year-old was on the pitch when United crashed out of the Champions League at Wolfsburg before Christmas, but didn’t seem too interested in seeing how their Europa League campaign started.

Powell says he was busy with his video game and “forgot” United were in action.

He is currently on-loan with the Tigers until the end of the season, with his United contract due to expire in the summer.
