Speaking at his press conference ahead of Thursday’s Premier League fixture with West Bromwich Albion, Wenger confirmed that Wilshere came through an under-21 game against the same opponents unscathed on Monday evening.
Wenger said Wilshere was looking sharper in each of his three under-21 appearances.
He confirmed that the England international, aged 24, would be available for first-team selection from this weekend, but said he did not think he would be involved against the Baggies.
