As for the Avalanche, they started making moves as soon as the 2022/23 season ended. You could say they were eager to make moves as their devastating loss in the first round of the postseason did not entirely scream “We can win the title next year!”. So, they got to work and soon after announced that they had signed a few great players, including Justus Annunen, Jack Johnson, Ross Colton, and Tomas Tatar.
Smart moves, no doubt about it. But we are yet to see how they will fit in with the rest of the team.
